Logistics operations often rely on outdated, manual processes, leading to inefficiencies and poor customer experiences. The company needed a centralized digital solution to simplify and optimize quoting, booking, tracking, and warehouse management.
Research & Discovery
Stakeholder Interviews: Engaged with business leaders and key users to define objectives and pain points.
User Interviews & Observations: Gathered insights from customers and warehouse operators to understand their needs and workflows.
Design & Development Process
Design & Development Process
Created initial wireframes and prototypes to visualize potential solutions.
Facilitated workshops with stakeholders to align business goals with user needs.
Soft Pilot & Launch Product
1. User Research Activities
Set up all tools to gather user feedback during launch and soft pilot -> Matomo, Mopinion (surveys), collaboration with development team on how to handle bugs, schedule weekly calls with customers.
2. Soft Pilot for Road Modality
Nominated customers user portal
Feedback collected, analysed, designed and parked in development backlog
3. Product Launch
Research activities are done, product is ready to launch with nominated group of customers from chosen countries
1. Concept Development
Created initial wireframes and prototypes to visualize potential solutions.
Facilitated workshops with stakeholders to align business goals with user needs.
2. Agile Collaboration
Worked closely with developers to ensure feasibility and smooth implementation.
Participated in sprint planning and reviews, iterating designs based on feedback.
3. Design System Implementation
Built a scalable design system with reusable components together with design documentation. (MUI)
Ensured consistency across different modules (quotes, booking, tracking, warehouse management).
Results&Impact
Reduction in Booking Time: Streamlined process improved efficiency.
Enhanced User Satisfaction: Improved experience led to positive feedback from customers and internal users.
Increased Adoption Rate: Rapid onboarding of stakeholders due to intuitive design.
Conslusion
